If you’re already working in a clinical role and want to further your career, this part-time course is for you.

Develop your clinical skills at work and learn alongside other healthcare professionals in university.

You’ll study the four ‘pillars’ of advanced practice and learn to apply them in your field – which could range from nursing to pharmacy.

You'll also strengthen your leadership and decision-making skills; and learn to use research evidence to support your clinical practice.

Teaching and modules

Boost your knowledge of research, critical analysis and evidence-based practice – all key skills in contemporary healthcare.

As a Masters student, you’ll also advance your knowledge of pathophysiology, clinical assessment and diagnosis of patients with undifferentiated or complex clinical conditions.

If you have legislation to prescribe, we offer a module in in advanced non-medical prescribing (with an alternative module available if you don’t).

Finally, you’ll complete a Major Project. This is a great opportunity to carry out research into an area of specific professional interest to you.
