You might already be working in the animal care sector and looking to further your knowledge and skills. Or you might be interested in gaining a recognised qualification and starting your career. Our course will give you all the practical experience and insights you need.
As a student at Writtle College you’ll use our animal studies centre, with its aquatic, reptile and companion animal rooms. You’ll also gain valuable experience with a work placement of two days per week.
You should be aged 19+ to study this course.

We're here Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm (please note we close at 3.30pm on the first and third Thursday of the month for staff training), and Friday 9am-4.30pm.
