Tell us about your sporting achievement or upcoming challenge.

I have entered the two-mile Swim Serpentine.

I’ve always loved swimming but have found it a real challenge in open water and get quite anxious. Swimming lessons have started and I’m hoping to keep that head under for more than a spluttering two strokes. I managed the half-mile swim last year so I’m upping the challenge this year.

I’m raising money for dolphin and whale conservation to thank them for sharing their home with me for a while.

What would you say to someone to inspire them to follow in your sporty footsteps?

Push those boundaries. There’s always something beautiful on the other side of fear.
