In your own words, tell us about your sporting achievement or upcoming challenge.
I completed the Cambridge Half marathon for Sew Positive, a local charity tackling loneliness and social isolation, which is something I struggled with during lockdown.
After completing the London Marathon last year, it was great to have another race in place to help improve my running time! It was an amazing day with excellent supporters, lots of money was raised and I smashed my goal time!
What would you say to someone to inspire them to follow in your sporty footsteps?
Go for it! Just start! I have always said running was never for me, but being slow is better than not running at all. It’s such a rewarding feeling and great for improving mental health.
