Merit Scholarship

Our Merit Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are taking exams in summer 2022 and expecting to achieve BBB grades or above.

Duration

This scholarship takes the form of a fee discount; we'll deduct it from the tuition fees for your first year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for our Merit Scholarship you should achieve BBB grades or above (120 UCAS tariff points) or equivalent entry score and be:

  • starting an undergraduate degree course in September 2022 on our Cambridge, Chelmsford or ARU Peterborough campuses
  • from the UK or an EU/EEA student who remains eligible for student finance. International students should refer to our International Merit Scholarship
  • studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study
  • sitting A-level exams (or equivalent) in the same year as you start your degree course.

Your tariff points should be obtained from two or more A-Levels or their equivalent.

Applicants for our MBChB Medicine and the London School of Osteopathy's BOst or MOst courses are not eligible to apply.

Foundation, extended, degree apprenticeship, distance learning degree programmes, London School of Osteopathy courses, and/or CPD and short courses are also excluded.

There is no need to apply. You’ll automatically receive our Merit Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
