PIER24: Tackling online harms: Transforming the whole system approach
Join us for PIER's annual conference, an important hybrid event that brings together the highest profile national and international speakers dedicated to tackling the global challenge of sexual abuse of children online.
Now a global epidemic, the threat of online child abuse continues to pose one of the most serious societal threats of our time. This conference brings together leading voices from across the globe in sectors such as technology, policing, public protection and academia, to discuss action and commit to change to help safeguard young people.
We will host the two-day event both in-person (at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel) and virtually, opening this conference to a global audience.
The expected format at the venue is as follows (TBC):
Monday 20 May: Evening drinks reception
Tuesday 21 May: Day 1 of conference, concluding with a gala dinner and global awards ceremony
Wednesday 22 May: Day 2 of conference
The delegate rate is £55 per day for in-person delegates or free for speakers, exhibitors, and online delegates. Accommodation charges are separate and are payable by delegates. The gala dinner and awards ceremony will be free for registered delegates to attend on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
