Saiful is a qualified nurse with clinical experience in many areas of Adult Nursing (including Trauma & Orthopaedics) gained during his professional career. He joined ARU in 2023 and is currently a Personal Tutor & Lecturer Practitioner teaching the essential knowledge and skills on the BSc Hons Nursing Apprenticeships (Adult).

Background

Saiful is an alumnus of ARU Cambridge, graduating in 2012 as an registered adult nurse (BSc. Hons). He also holds BSc, Hons in Human Biology & a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of Birmingham. Alongside his teaching at ARU, he is currently completing an MA in Education.

In 2012, Saiful started his nursing career in Trauma & Orthopaedics. Within 15 months he was promoted to Junior Charge nurse. From this role, he developed his skills in leadership and management, as well as being a mentor to nursing students. He eventually went on to become a Specialist Support Nurse in orthopaedics.

It was this responsibility of being a mentor that piqued his interest into going on to become a lecturer, which he accomplished in 2023. #
