Background

Lauren completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire, gaining a foundation in human physiology and performance. After taking a year to reflect on her career path and goals, Lauren pursued a degree in Operating Department Practice at ARU. In the ODP role, Lauren has gained extensive experience in anaesthetics and has been actively involved in in-hospital emergency care, particularly as part of the medical emergency team. This experience has allowed Lauren to hone skills in high-pressure environments, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver urgent care to both adult and paediatric patients.

  • Lauren assists with all level 4, 5, and 6 modules on the Operating Department Practice BSc
