Karen Proctor is a vastly experienced building services cost manager. Having spent the past 40 years working in industry on both the contracting and client side on a variety of major projects, she is now teaching on quantity surveying related modules.

Background

Having spent the past 25 years working as a senior cost manager specialising in building services for a major commercial developer in London, in November 2021, Karen made the decision to take her career in a new direction, accepting a lecturing post at ARU where she is now involved in teaching students on the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying undergraduate course.
