Joanna Dunn is a Registered Nurse (Adult) and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, and Director of Quality (Nursing and Midwifery).

Background

With a clinical background in Health Visiting, Joanna started her career in education at Manchester Met, initially teaching health visiting and then leading the Community Specialist Practitioner programmes. She developed the Return to Practice programme, was the CPD and Postgraduate Lead, and was responsible for Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) quality assurance. She has experience as an NMC quality assurance visitor.

Joanna joined ARU in November 2021 as the Director of Quality for Nursing and Midwifery.

Teaching

Joanna has experience of teaching pre-registration nursing students and post-registration/CPD students.
