Daniela is a behavioural economist interested in understanding how people make decisions and how behavioural insights can be used to enhance decision-making, including informing policy and practice.

Background

Before re-joining Anglia Ruskin University, Daniela was a lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Her teaching experience includes lecturing economics and supervising dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Daniela is a member of the Centre for Inclusive Societies and Economies and the research cluster lead for Behavioural Economics. She is a co-founder and the director of the Behavioural Insights Laboratory.

Daniela’s research is at the intersection of economics and psychology with a focus on understanding decision-making. Her studies mainly use behavioural lab-based experiments. Her research interests include the role of emotions in shaping choices and the application of behavioural insights as strategies for behavioural change.
