Christopher is a Chartered Physiotherapist who teaches on the MSc Physiotherapy Course at ARU in Chelmsford. He continues to work clinically at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.

Background

Christopher graduated from Coventry University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. After completing junior rotations, he specialised in Burns and Plastics at the St. Andrew’s Centre, Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. Christopher focuses on the respiratory care of patients in the Burns Intensive Care Unit and their rehabilitation after severe burn injuries.

Christopher has assisted in developing a Facial Palsy service which he continues to run. This is one of very few services in the country that gives specialist physiotherapy for facial paralysis with Christopher also administering Botox injections.

Christopher has had a keen interest in teaching for a long time before starting with ARU. As a Lecturer Practitioner he focuses on clinical skills and practical teaching.
