Dr Biju Mathew is a well-known health educator and researcher with comprehensive academic skills in adult nursing, Health research methodologies, leadership and management, Strategic healthcare management, organisational behavioural sciences, and NHS Structure and quality management systems. Dr Biju has held several responsibilities including acute and emergency nursing, complex case management and strategic Clinical commissioning continuing health care planning within NHS Services UK.
Dr. Biju Mathew is currently attached to the Anglia Ruskin University, The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care as a senior Lecturer and to the doctoral school of ARU as a research supervisor. In addition, hold a position as PhD external research examiner for other international universities.
Dr Biju Mathew is an active researcher in the areas of workforce management and integrated care aspects within NHS UK. Several externally funded research works are carried in these areas and works are being published in reputed journals. Dr Biju Mathew remains as the module lead for undergraduate major project across all campuses within Anglia Ruskin University, The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care. Dr Biju Mathew is a core member of the health &care workforce research group in ARU.
Dr Biju Mathew is a research supervisor in the Doctoral School. In addition, acting as PhD external research examiner for other international universities. The health research students are benefitted with his research support and guidance in qualitative as well as quantitate research methods.
Principal investigator on the research titled “An inquiry to determine the factors influencing newly qualified health care student choices on working within Essex health providers”. This research is externally funded by Mid and South Essex Integrated care board. Under review with Nursing open.
