Originally joining ARU as Lecturer and Chartered Surveyor in 2019, Andrew has obtained formal teaching qualifications and am a Fellow of AdvanceHE. Hehas a particular expertise in the degree apprenticeship pathway, from commencement of academic studies through to End Point Assessment (EPA) and Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Since joining ARU as a Lecturer Practitioner in 2019, Andrew has been teaching the undergraduate honours degree course in Building Surveying.
With a background in private practice surveying, and as a partner of a multi-disciplinary RICS registered firm Ingleton Wood since 2007, he was responsible for a team of surveyors, engineers and architects involved in delivering capital project programmes in predominantly public sector client environments for primary/secondary education, local authorities and social landlords.
Andrew is also a registered RICS APC Assessor and currently sits on RICS assessment panels for building surveyors and project managers wishing to become qualified members of RICS.
