Chelmsford campus to host the return of popular Festival for the Senses
A free festival of fun for anyone aged 10 and over is returning to Anglia Ruskin University’s Chelmsford campus for the third successive year.
The Festival for the Senses will take place from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, 7 October and the event will give members of the public a chance to explore their senses through a variety of stalls and activities.
Among the activities include a bucket drumming workshop, craft with modelling clay, festival glitter painting, wild food tasting and cooking demonstrations, and a climbing wall.
There will also be a photo booth with free photos, food stalls and much more.
Rachel Moss, Public Engagement Officer for Anglia Ruskin University, said:
“We are looking forward to bringing back our popular Festival for the Senses following two very successful previous events.
“There will be so much to see, feel, smell, hear and taste – there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone and we hope to see lots of people come along for a fun and free day out.”
The Festival for the Senses will run concurrently with Anglia Ruskin University’s latest open day, where prospective students can find out more about courses and facilities on offer at the university.
