University is praised by judges for its 'excellent' learning environment
Anglia Ruskin University has won a prestigious higher education award for the quality and good value of its learning facilities, based on student surveys.
Anglia Ruskin won the Datapoint Merit category at the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards (THELMAS) last night (Thursday, 21 June).
Times Higher Education’s data team said Anglia Ruskin was seen as a standout example of a UK university that had “excellent learning facilities by students, even when the sums spent are not necessarily astronomical”.
The award was given based on analysis of data collected from a European student survey carried out by THE as part of its World University Rankings.
Professor Iain Martin, Vice Chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University, said:
Anglia Ruskin fought off competition from De Montfort University, University of Derby, University of Huddersfield, Solent University, Nottingham Trent University, University of Portsmouth and University of York.
