Student will undertake work experience after high performance during 2021/22

A law student at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has become the first winner of The Stowe Family Law Prize following her impressive performance this academic year.

Adelina-Iuliana Foiciuc achieved 85% in the Child and Family Law module of her course at ARU during 2021/22, and has now been offered work experience at Stowe Family Law’s Chelmsford office during the summer to work alongside their expert family solicitors and get a taste for family law.

The inaugural prize is a result of a new partnership between Stowe Family Law and ARU and will be given to a high-performing student each year.

Adelina, who lives in Brentwood, said:

“I enjoyed studying Family Law, I am immensely proud for achieving this award, and I keep this option available in pursuing a career in law.

“I am truly grateful and thankful to Senior Lecturer Imranali Panjwani, for passionately delivering a fascinating module which got my interest immediately, and for his guidance and support throughout my studies. This award is as much his as it is mine.

“I cannot wait to start my work days at Stowe Family Law in Chelmsford, getting an insight into a real Family Law firm, learning new work transferable skills and boosting my CV.”

Sebastian Burrows, Managing Partner of Stowe Family Law, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be able to congratulate Adelina-Iuliana Foiciuc, on her impressive result of 85% in the Child and Family Law module.

“To perform so highly shows clearly what a firm grasp of, and flair for the field, Adelina-Iuliana has. We have no doubt that she will have a successful legal career ahead of her.”
