Academic entry requirements
for students coming from Taiwan to ARU
For entry to a bachelor’s degree (year 1), we will consider the following qualifications:
- A recognised foundation programme

International Baccalaureate Diploma

International Advanced Levels (A Levels)
- Junior College Diploma
- Senior Vocational High School Leaving Certificate
- Successful competition of at least one year of undergraduate studies at a recognised university in Taiwan with minimum 65%
If you are applying for a one of our Art & Design, Music, Drama or Performing Arts courses, we can also accept Senior High School certificate with a minimum of 70%.
For entry to a master’s degree, we will consider the following qualifications:
- A recognised pre-masters course
- Bachelor degree awarded by a National University in Taiwan with a minimum of 65%
- Bachelor degree awarded by any other recognized institution in Taiwan with a minimum of 70%
For entry to a research degree, we will consider overseas qualifications equivalent to a UK Master’s degree. Please visit our postgraduate research pages for more information on the application requirements.
