Get ready to take an IELTS exam. Our four-week English language course focuses on the basics: writing, reading, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. It will also help you develop techniques to improve your performance in the exam.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is used to assess language ability in four language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
An IELTS certificate is usually required for study or work in the UK (as well as some other English speaking countries) for entry or visa purposes.
Our IELTS Preparation Course will help to get you exam-ready.
If you would like to improve your English skills and prepare for an IELTS exam, you can combine this course with an English Language Skills course.
Our English Language Extra option means you can take a twelve-lesson programme, either with a general English focus or by combining it with our IELTS Preparation Course. This will be ideal for you if you want to prepare more fully for the IELTS test through a combination of skills work and targeted exam preparation.
English Language Extra gives you a longer course programme at a reduced weekly fee.
Our IELTS Preparation Course is part-time.
You'll study for three hours every week, over four weeks – a total of 12 hours.
The course will help you understand the format of the IELTS exam and give you tips and techniques to improve your performance.
You’ll also receive guidance on independent study and resources you can use to improve your language levels before taking the exam.

We would recommend that you check availability of IELTS test dates in advance, as they may get booked up during peak periods.
