The first ever Writers in Residence programme at ARU's Writtle campus took place in May 2024. Four writers visited the campus to work on pieces inspired by sustainability and landscape.
The four writers in residence for 2024 were:
All four are interested in sustainability, place-based writing, landscapes and/or our relations with the more-than-human world. The writers used the retreat to work on collaborative and solo projects inspired by the location.
