Reflexivity and Research Practices

What makes effective research? We believe that paying close attention to method is key to the success of our work in sustainability. By considering the role of the researcher, and the approaches used, we study reflexivity and research practices across a wide range of projects within this theme.

SHAPE-ENERGY
The SHAPE-ENERGY project developed a platform to bring together those 'demanding' energy research with social science and humanities researchers who can 'supply' it.

Energy-SHIFTS
Energy-SHIFTS worked to improve the inclusion of energy-related social sciences and humanities research in short- and long-term EU energy policy.

RRING
This open and welcoming global community aimed to spread and share the ideas of responsible research and innovation.

UKUH
UKUH aimed to improve understanding of the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of unconventional hydrocarbon development in the UK.
