GSI Seminar: Modelling for shocks to the system

27 November 2019, 13:00 - 14:00
Cambridge campus

Roberto Pasqualino

GSI Visiting Fellow and PhD researcher

Join us for a seminar to talk about Roberto's research, which follows on from resource modelling of The Limits to Growth (1972) and the recent work of the Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP). Specifically, Roberto will explain how the model that he built, (World3) can be used to simulate future scenarios based on thousands of variables: By way of example, Roberto will be talking about how forest fires and deforestation in the Amazon impacts on food security around the world.
