Research suggests that music creates a feeling of cohesion or social connectedness and remains a powerful way of uniting people. The benefits of listening to music are far-reaching, making us feel happier and more productive, lowering stress levels and improving mental health and strengthening mood, memory and verbal communication.
Join us for a free evening performance delivered by Rhapsody Chorus, a group that sings a cappella (unaccompanied) 4-part harmony.
The 4-part chorus is made up of a Lead – this often takes the melody of the song, Bass – the lowest harmony line and the driving force of the chorus, Tenor – the highest harmony line, sung above the melody and Baritone – a rich harmony line that moves above and below the melody. Bringing them together is the Musical Director who shapes and develops the sound, expression and performance.
