The future of outer space is questionable. Military and civilian application through state funding has bridged the gaps of early science fiction and made the Earth a lot smaller. This talk will bring together a number of hypothetical approaches to such applications, and consider what the future may look like.

About our speaker

Dr Scott Steele obtained his PhD from the Open University, considering the future of the COSPARs (committee on space research) planetary protection policy, astrobiology and space governance. Scott presents his research at UK and international conferences, and is also a lecturer at ARU Peterborough.
