Safe travel

We know that our students, staff and visitors need to travel to and from ARU. We recommend walking and cycling to campus if you can, or following Government safety guidelines if using public transport.

Covid-19 safer travel guidelines for public transport include:

  • wear a face covering, unless you're exempt
  • keep your distance from people where possible
  • wash your hands regularly, especially after you get off public transport
  • avoid the busiest times and routes if possible.

You'll find full guidance on Gov.UK.

Do not travel if you experience symptoms of coronavirus, you're self-isolating, or you're following instructions from the NHS Test and Trace service.

If you're on campus and start to experience symptoms, follow Government guidance on safe travel, get home as soon as possible, book a test and start isolating at home.

We know that coronavirus has affected everyone in different ways, so if you have any worries or concerns, our Counselling and Wellbeing Service is here to help.
