Advice for business partners

The coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is evolving rapidly and we're monitoring the situation on a daily basis, following the advice provided by Public Health England (PHE) and the UK Government.

Our commitment to you

These are challenging times for employers and apprentices. The government and ARU are committed to supporting apprentices, and employers continue to build the skills capabilities the country needs now and in the future.

We’re still here to help

We would like to reassure you that here at ARU our teams are set up, working from home to support every one of our employer partners and apprentices through his unprecedented time. We’re proud to be a supportive and inclusive community and it is in times like these when our community spirit comes through most.

New support to make it easier

As part of the cross-government efforts to respond to the impact of COVID-19, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) is implementing new measures, for the duration of the pandemic, to make it easier for apprenticeships to continue and complete in a different way, if they need to or to break and resume an apprenticeship later when that becomes possible.

We are working in line with this emerging guidance to support our employers and apprentices and we’ll be in touch with you in relation to your individual circumstances over the coming weeks.
