Explore the contribution of Essex-based industrial manufacturers such as Marconi’s and Hoffmann’s to scientific developments, through Anglia Ruskin University’s Frederick Roberts Archive of Industrial History.
Dr Pearson is an independent researcher whose work focuses on the history of museums in the 20th century. She has worked at Anglia Ruskin University since 2010, undertaking roles at the University Library and the Research and Innovation Development Office as well as research projects for the Veterans and Families Institute.
Catherine is the author of Museums in the Second World: Curators, Culture and Change and has also written a children’s fiction book, The Sole Bay Railway, which is illustrated by the artist Ronald Hellen.
