Stress Awareness Day

National Stress Awareness Day is a great opportunity to take a moment to think about our wellbeing and find advice or support on managing stress.
As part of this campaign we are supporting Mid Essex IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) to offer free stress management workshops to promote positive wellbeing and teach strategies for managing stress.

Health in Mind and Mid & NE Essex Mind will also have stalls in the main atrium throughout the day and will be available to provide information on support available locally. 

The workshop covers areas such as:

  • What is stress and how can we recognise it?
  • Tips on getting a balanced lifestyle and good sleep routine
  • Identifying and challenging negative thoughts
  • Managing worry
  • Assertiveness techniques
  • Problem solving and time management techniques

Workshops will start promptly at 10am and 2pm. We ask attendees to arrive 10 minutes before the advertised start time.
