Dr Helga Henjy is a lecturer at ARU who specialises in Human Rights law. Her talk will explore the impact of the fast fashion industry on international human rights protection. The fashion industry is no longer confined to national boundaries, but develops on a global scale. Headquarters are generally based in economically developed countries, while production is located in developing countries. Helga will explore this reality and its implications for human rights in her talk.
Presented as part of ARU’s Sustainable Fashion Week 2020.
