Join us for Dr Sanjiv Ahluwalia's inaugural professorial lecture, in which he explores the intricate relationship between clinical education and patient care/outcomes.

We are pleased to invite you to the inaugural lecture of Dr Sanjiv Ahluwalia, Head of ARU's School of Medicine, marking his appointment as a Professor. Sanjiv will talk about his research, which explores the intricate relationship between clinical education and patient care/outcomes. A drinks and networking reception will follow.

Biography

Sanjiv is a General Medical Practitioner with a unique focus on understanding the impact of clinical education on patient care. Graduating from the University of London in 1994, he completed his training at the Royal Free Hospital and Barnet Vocational Training Scheme in 2000, subsequently serving as a GP in Barnet.

Since 2002, Sanjiv has played a crucial role in clinical education, initially as a GP training programme director and, most recently, as the Regional Postgraduate Dean for London. His extensive educational contributions encompass managing postgraduate medical training programmes, collaborating with service providers on workforce and educational transformation, and spearheading interprofessional education initiatives.
