Climate Exp0 is the first conference from the COP26 Universities Network and the Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS), working together to raise ambition for tangible outcomes from the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).
Professor Aled Jones, Director of our Global Sustainability Institute, will chair the climate finance discussion day on Friday 21 May.
Climate finance is a key part of any agreement that will come out of COP26. Meeting climate targets will depend on a significant, sustained increase in investment into climate solutions. It is also likely to bring new financial opportunities.
The day will feature two panel sessions of senior policy and business stakeholders, exploring the twin challenges of finance risk and finance opportunities within the context of tackling climate change.
It's a free virtual event, open to all.
