Come to this free seminar at ARU Peterborough to explore the reality of women in science.

Join Dr Elizabeth Osoba, Senior Lecturer Practitioner in Science, as she celebrates Women in Science: Past, Present and Future to mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2023.

If you, or a family member or friend, are interested in science in general, the history of science as an evolving field for women or how to start on the journey to developing a career within the scientific arena, this is the seminar for you.

Dr Osoba will explore the history of success for local female scientists before widening the field to explore modern day scientific advancements presented by female scientists across the UK.

As Elizabeth continues her timeline, she will deliver a question and answer session with female undergraduate scientists before opening up to the audience to explore careers and the future for women in science.

Following the seminar, why not join us for a tour of University House? Get a feel for what it's like to study at ARU Peterborough.
