26 October 2019, 12:30 - 13:30
The resonance or identity of a specific location in the process of change is examined through presentations by artists whose practices range from installation to text and video-based works. The essence of place-bound identity within place shaping and site-specific artwork is explored through a panel discussion.
After the talk you are welcome to take part in a walking tour around the Mill Road area, stopping at key locations to draw.
Change, memory and identity, in the context of Mill Road and the current building programmes, will be creatively mapped by participants as part of the national Big Draw programme. The tour will run 1.30-4pm.
This event is part of Cambridge Festival of Ideas.
