Set up in 2018 and offering vital access to justice, our Law Clinic provides free, independent, legal advice and support to those facing family, employment or immigration law matters across communities in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough.

In March 2019, the service won the Excellence in Pro Bono award at the Cambridgeshire and District Law Society’s annual awards and in May 2019 was ‘highly-commended runners-up' in the Best New Pro Bono Activity category of the LawWorks National Student Pro Bono Awards.

To date the clinic has seen more than 1,500 clients, offering free legal advice worth more than £150,000. Demand for its services is ever-increasing.

We hope this event will be an opportunity for you to become more familiar with the work of our Law Clinic, and to engage with it in the future.

The event features:

  • Introduction by Clare Johnson, Head of Clinic Support & Development, LawWorks
  • Presentation from Sarah Calder, Director, ARU Law Clinic
  • Feature presentation from Regan Lowe, student volunteer
  • Address by Paul Stephenson, Head of Development, ARU
  • Q&A session

We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
