Join speakers Dr Artur Jaschke, Dr Jayne Standley, Dr Helen Shoemark and Dr Mark Ettenberger for an online roundtable about the benefits of music therapy for premature babies in the neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU).

This webinar will feature individual presentations followed by a roundtable discussion from panellists on current music therapy practice and research in the NICU. Presentations will include:

  • From womb through childhood: NICU music-based therapies and interventions and her effects on neural development and epigenetics in (extreme) preterm infants
  • Research in music to enhance wellbeing and promote neurodevelopment of premature infants
  • Person-centred care models of music therapy in the paediatric NICU
  • Family-centred music therapy in the neonatal intensive care unit: From an intervention to an experience-based approach.
