Cambridge Institute of Music Therapy Research invites you to attend an exciting roundtable event about assessment with panellists Dr Eric Waldon, Karen Twyford and Professor Wendy Magee.
Assessment is fundamental to practice in healthcare and education. It provides information to plan interventions, make clinical decisions and recommendations, and report on progress of the intervention in meeting the needs of those receiving therapy. Assessment exists in many forms, from standardised, quantitative measures to free text descriptions, and can be music-based or non-musical. This exciting roundtable event will focus on assessment in music therapy practice from different perspectives.
The session will be chaired by Dr Jonathan Pool and include a discussion with our esteemed panel and questions from attendees.
This event is part of the CIMTR Public Lecture Series 2024-25.
