Meeting safely at ARU

We've introduced measures to ensure a safe, COVID-secure environment, so you can hold your meeting with confidence. Please follow our venue policies to keep yourself and others safe.

This is what you can expect from us:

  • one-way systems in common areas
  • reduced meeting room capacities to allow for social distancing
  • signage and floor stickers to remind everyone about social distancing and good hygiene
  • a clean environment, with an enhanced cleaning regime and regular cleaning of high touchpoints
  • hand sanitiser stations
  • delicious catering that allows you to maintain social distancing
  • some of our team might wear PPE

This is what we expect from you:

  • maintain social distancing
  • maintain good hygiene, wash your hands, and make use of hand sanitiser
  • if you use our cafés, pay with contactless payment if you can
  • follow signage and instructions from staff while on site
  • follow government guidance on wearing a face covering
  • if you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19 please don’t attend
  • if you become unwell on-site let us know - we’ll support you to get home safely.

In line with NHS Test and Trace you will be asked to voluntarily supply your name and phone number to the organiser of the meeting or event which will be held on record by ARU. This information is collected for the sole purpose of supplying it to NHS Test and Trace if required. This information will be stored securely for a period of 21 days after the event date, after which time it will be permanently deleted.
