Technology Adoption in Healthcare project proposes new framework

Published: 27 January 2021 at 15:38

Academics working on the Innovation, Management and Practice (IMPact) research centre's Technology Adoption in Healthcare project have proposed a new aggregated technology acceptance framework.

The proposal is the outcome of a study authored by Christine Jacob, Dr Antonio Sanchez-Vasquez and Prof Chris Ivory. Understanding Clinicians' Adoption of Mobile Health Tools: A Qualitative Review of the Most Used Frameworks, published in JMIR mHealth and uHealth, proposes an aggregated technology acceptance framework that complements the gaps in existing ones and informs on the elements to look for in order to better foster mHealth adoption.
