Dr John Sorabji is an Associate Professor at UCL where he lectures in Civil Procedural Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
He also practices as a barrister. Previously he was the Principal Legal Adviser to the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales and the Master of the Rolls.
He is a member of the Civil Justice Council, General Editor of The White Book – the leading commentary on English civil procedure – author of English Civil Justice after Woolf and Jackson, and a contributor to Foskett on Compromise and Civil Litigation in a Comparative Context and Zuckerman on Civil Procedure. He had a leading role in the development of the ELI-UNIDROIT model rules of European Civil Procedure.
