Law student to represent ARU and GB at the European University Championships after silver Judo triumph.

Jade Warr, a first year LLB Law student in her first ever BUCS competition, managed to win a silver medal only losing out to a world junior medallist. This result also qualified her to represent ARU and GB at the European University Championships.

Sport and Active Anglia recently took 17 athletes up to BUCS nationals, the largest university sporting event in the UK. Despite the high standard of competition, ARU managed to come away with 7 medals and qualify 5 athletes to the European University Championships.

Anglia Ruskin University will have five representatives at the 2018 European University Games in Coimbra, Portugal between 15–28 July.
