Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Approved and accredited courses

We believe your degree can be boosted with approval or accreditation by relevant professional bodies, where we work with these bodies to provide the most up to date and relevant training.

These can give you exemptions from, or discounted access to, professional exams, allowing you to gain your professional qualifications sooner.

The School of Economics, Finance and Law links with the following professional bodies:

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – we are a gold approved learning provider, with graduation students gaining maximum exemptions.

BARBRI – graduates from our LLB programme can benefit from discounted fees on Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) prep courses.

Bar Standards Board – accredited by the BSB

Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) – graduates of our Masters programme will be recognised by CIPS.

National Association of Licensed Paralegals – choose to graduate from our LLB course with a Higher Diploma in Paralegal Practice.
