Hello, I'm Nick and I'm a level 4 Crime and Investigative Studies (CIS) student in Cambridge. Cool, right?

I know what you're thinking and you're right. Yes, we do get to do fancy laboratory stuff, as well as mock crime scene examinations. We also analyse cases and discuss investigative strategies, and a lot more. It's basically the best course!

Living in Cambridge and being part of ARU is something I am definitely proud of. It's a friendly environment that allows you to fit in quickly. You're an international student and worried about it? Don't. I am one too, and I'm doing a great job so far. (It's what I like to believe at least.)

So, what is university actually like? No, it's not as stressful as you think it is. There is no need to worry about your studies if you have a passion for the course that you applied for. Your best friend will be strategic thinking. You just need to be able to focus on your studies but also leave enough free time for yourself so you don't overload your brain. Especially when you're studying CIS... trust me. 😃
