Course: BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering
Hi, my name is Nadanum and I am from Mauritius. I'm studying Civil Engineering on ARU's Chelmsford campus.
The reason I chose this course is because I have a passion for mathematics, and the experience I had in my dad’s hardware store sparked my interest in civil engineering.
In my first year, we had an optional project called Constructionarium. It was amazing to have a real-life experience on a site for a week. It definitely expanded my knowledge of civil engineering.
ARU has helped me to become independent and to be confident. I made many friends through the University’s events and Freshers' Fair. It is so great to see that there are many international students here and I feel really comfortable.
