Hello everyone! I’m Ellie and I’m studying Midwifery at the Peterborough campus.
Midwifery has been my dream since I had my eldest son five years ago and I’m so excited to be finally starting. I’m 24 and I have two little boys. We live together in Stamford.
Thanks to ARU, I’m starting my degree earlier than anticipated. I learned that ARU Peterborough had started a Midwifery course a couple of years ago and as it’s a short commute, I made the decision to complete an Access course. The last year flew by and suddenly, I’m here!
There is so much I’m looking forward to on my degree, from learning more about anatomy and physiology to supporting women in their pregnancies, births and beyond. I’m really looking forward to sharing my journey with current students and anyone who is considering starting their journey into this amazing career.
