I went to both an Open Day and an Applicant Day at ARU. The University wasn’t my first choice until after attending both. I’ll tell you why. Read more…

Hey, I’m Christhannah, I’m currently in my second year studying BSc (Hons) Psychology at ARU in Cambridge.
The decision to choose ARU was pretty easy once I got to know more about the uni and my course. I can honestly say I do not regret it. I have loads of different interests and hobbies. Some of my hobbies are playing tennis, reading and the main one is exploring.
I enjoy the added perks of living in Cambridge because there is always something going on. Also, the scenery gives such a calming effect – useful during exam season. I enjoy going to the gym, walks in the countless parks, and interacting with the faith community in Cambridge.
I’m very active in growing my relationship with God; ARU has a chaplaincy department and there are multiple events and support systems within the uni and around Cambridge that supports that. I currently attend a local church that holds a number of events to support everyone and anyone in their journey. The best part is that you get to make connections with a lot of different students.
I have also been privileged to be able to learn new skills through different events such as Be Your Own Boss seminars, conferences, and the Anglia Language Programme (learning a new language). All of these are available to students at ARU.
ARU has really given me a lot of opportunities to develop as a person and to explore. It is truly a place of growth, diversity and creativity.
