Hi, I am Amanda, a third year Sociology student at ARU.

Going to university was a big step for me, but I couldn’t be happier with my choice of ARU and my course. I decided to go to ARU because I love the campus and the fact that practically everything I need is all in one space.

My course has enabled me to really broaden my knowledge and understanding from studying modules from policing and crime, education, inequality and class. It’s extremely interesting, diverse and challenging at times but also very rewarding.

The university has so much to offer and has provided me numerous opportunities including becoming course rep, volunteering with the Students' Union and becoming a Student Ambassador to name just a few. The opportunities here really are endless!

Keep an eye on this page as I’ll have more blog posts to follow soon.
