The Natural Environment Research Council has announced its call for a Centre for Doctoral Training.

There are two options:

  • freshwater bioscience and sustainability, or
  • environmental science underpinning the sustainable future of the energy sector.

Anglia Ruskin University academics may wish to discuss with their networks, and determine if they could be suitable partners for this scheme. A NERC CDT is a tremendous responsibility, but carries great prestige. It gives an opportunity to train the next generation of environmental scientists (eight per year for three years).

It is essential to read the paperwork thoroughly for this call, and to ensure any putative partners also understand their role in the bid. Please see the information available on the call page.
