Faculty:Arts, Humanities, Education and Social Sciences

School:Cambridge School of Art

Course: Children's Book Illustration MA

My name is Fátima Ordinola and I am an international student from Peru studying for an MA in Children's Book Illustration in Cambridge.

I have published my first picture book in my hometown, and I have done freelance projects where I have found illustration and graphic design as powerful tools of expression.

As an illustrator, my passion is to find a way of communication between the story and the drawings. One of the main reasons I choose to study here is knowing that everything I have learnt will be unlearned and I will discover new tools and ways of telling stories. I consider myself a curious person and I am always trying to find new places, movies, books, foods and everything that can help me develop as an artist.
