Anglia Ruskin's Annual Research Conference 2017 is coming soon! Save the date for 20 January 2017 so you can join the discussion around the future of ARU research.

Our Annual Research Conference will be hosted by Michael Millan, Director of ARU's Research and Innovation Development Office (RIDO), and will feature guest speakers Phil Baty, from the Times Higher, and Vivienne Stern from Universities UK International, as well as presentations from Vice Chancellor Professor Iain Martin and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Professor Roderick Watkins.

Taking place in Chelmsford on 20 January 2017, over the course of the day we will explore the key issues and questions shaping our next Research Strategy, focusing on both internal and external factors affecting our research now and over the next five years.

The day will be a combination of presentations and interactive sessions with opportunities for you to contribute directly to areas of discussion. Further details on the agenda will be provided nearer the time.

Coaches will be available for those travelling from Cambridge and lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Tickets are free and available to book at

Please note that this is an internal event for Anglia Ruskin staff and is not open to members of the general public.
