Our interdisciplinary research unit is made up of faculty staff, associate lecturers and postgraduate and undergraduate students with an interest in the area of nineteenth-century studies.
As well as holding informal monthly meetings in which members of the unit discuss and receive feedback on their work in progress, we host visiting speakers and run symposia and conferences.
Our inaugural conference, The Figure of Christ in the Long Nineteenth Century, took place in May 2016.
